Why Trust Captain Morgan For Your Delivery Charters...
Growing up as an adopted boy on a small eastern Washington farm was tough. But, I learned a lot that would serve me for the remainder of my life...
I was abducted, and sold for adoption at a very young age and, became the youngest of six adopted boys that was the child labor force for the homestead.
At 11 years old I joined Washington Explorer Search & Rescue where I learned a great deal about how to survive in the wilderness and specifically, the cold snowy winters of the northern Cascades.
At 14, I ran away from home and lived on the Olympic Peninsula working in the dark wet rain forest making shakes and shingles out of fallen cedar trees.
When I reached 18 years, I dropped out of high school and joined the US Navy.
During 9 years in the navy I served in a VAQ, on several aircraft carriers, NAS Whidbey Island, and finally in the Persian Gulf during the Iran/Iraq war escorting tankers on a DDG.
I'm a Blue-nose, Shell-back, surface warfare qualified, and have been on all the seas, including the Black Sea. I've transited the Panama & Suez Canals, escorted tankers in the gulf, and, helped remove mines there. I've been to dozens of countries.
From rescuing people and retrieving bodies, restoring antique autos, working with EOD teams, being the top real estate professional in the nation, completely remodeling houses & developing real estate, an author, guiding and supporting Catalina Channel swimmers, kayak camping on the Colorado river solo for weeks, landing a Cessna T182t on a grassy remote meadow and sleeping overnight, to Captaining dive boats on Catalina Island & Captain of 1600 ton cruise ship...
I’ve had thousands of unique and exciting adventures.

Attempting a swim of Catalina Channel is a big big deal.
It takes years of training and preparation. And, it’s a very costly endeavor, especially if you’re coming from a foreign country.
Why not get some local expert training and support?
Qing Li, Triple Crown swimmer, Ice Ironwoman (Iron Icewoman?), speaker, trainer, coach, can do just that.
She recently medaled 6 times in the IISA World Championships in France, and set new age group world records.
She's also the record holder for fastest turn around Ironman to Ice Mile at just 29 days..
Qing needs no introduction as she has an impressive resume and a ridiculous sense of humor. If you’re able to get support and coaching from Qing, I’d highly recommend you do it.
She’s active in the swimming community and very busy, so I’d suggest you reach out to her asap if you’re seeking assistance in a channel attempt, doing an ice mile, or even a tri-athlete who is not a swimmer and you would like to fix that!
Qing and Guy are available, on a limited basis as a support crew for marathon swims worldwide. Catalina Channel is home for us.
Connect with Qing, you'll have immediate access to an experienced marathon swimmer & coach, an experienced support paddler, support crew, nutritional support, a USCG Captain & boat, two CCSF Official Observers, and so much more...
In late 1987 Guy began his real estate career. Just as he had on the farm, working in the woods, and in the navy… he jumped right in working 12-15 hour days.
He read and studied every piece of real estate sales material he could get his hands on. Attended seminars with Tom Hopkins, Danielle Kennedy, Walter Sanford, Mike Ferry, Steve Stewart, and many others. All the greatest real estate sales and training pros at the time.
After about eighteen months in real estate he grew tired of driving buyers around and decided to become a listing agent. If you didn’t know, listing agents make ALL of the money in real estate.
After a few years working for a small local brokerage he joined forces with a fellow real estate pro, Len Fries at the local C-21 office. Len was his only real competitor in the area and they had a mutual respect for one another.
Guy and Len finished 69th in the nation for commissions earned, out of 88,000 agents in their only full year together at C-21.
The following year Guy and Len moved to another nationwide brand Realty Executives. Within a few years he and his partner had the top team in the nation two years in a row, as a result of geographic farming, REO’s and short sales.
Guy completed his first real estate short sale in 1991 and has been credited with being the first person to coin the phrase real estate short sale.
In 1995 he began studying copy writing and direct response marketing and opened his own real estate office two years later, after his partner retired.
For more than 7 years Guy never listed a home for less than 6.25 % at his price and terms. He maintained a 15% to 35% market share with zero expired listings, a fifty-four day average market time, and a twenty-one day average escrow length. Hardly the typical realtor.
Guy was an innovator in the real estate industry and introduced the Easy Exit listing and a Sure Sale Guarantee. And created a two-step listing process that guarantees you get the listing at the correct price and terms... every time.
In 2004 Guy retired from real estate, purchased a factory fresh Cessna Turbo 182t with G-1000 glass, and explored North America for two years, during which time his office ran without him.
Guy has written 3 books for the real estate industry and has consulted with Re/max, Assist to Sell, Prudential, Realty Executives, Keller Williams, Avalar, EXP, and many other franchises.
He’s also done coaching and training in the lending and title industry, and real estate training in Australia.

Cap'n Morgan offers group and private open water kayak swim support coaching and training.
As a CCSF support kayaker, official observer, and pilot boat captain he brings an absolutely unequaled and unique skill set to coaching and training swimmers, coaches, and support kayakers on how best to support marathon swimmers.
Open water marathon swimming is a challenging and lets be honest, dangerous, individual extreme sport, that requires dependency on support personnel heavily.
Most marathon swimmers invest countless hours and lots of money in preparation for long distance solo swims.
The challenge is very often when you show up for your marathon swim challenge you're too often left with little choice on where to find quality kayak support!
Frankly, from what I've seen after many years of supporting swimmers, most local kayak support is from amateurs at best.
This is dangerous to the swimmers safety.

Here's what member Mike Reilly had to say...
I highly recommend Captain Guy as both an instructor and captain. While training under his instruction, I learned all the critical functions, laws, regulations, best practices and most important safety. He was patient and extremely knowledgeable.
I have also hired him to captain several times and he is my first call whenever we need a captain. On top of his professionalism and skill, he is personable and a blast to have on board.
No better captain on the lake.
~Mike Reilly

I've relied on Captain Guy Morgan for many Yacht charters and I fully recommend his services. He is prompt, professional, safe, and truly cares for the vessels he captains. He has an immense amount of on water experience. He takes great care of the vessels and goes the extra mile... hard to find in the industry.
I've worked with Guy while kayaking on Catalina channel solo swims several times and have been very impressed with his demeanor, his ability to guide the swimmer, and remain calm under any emergency. He talks swimmers through any problems that they may have and the swimmer comes through to do a completion of the swim.
Guy is not only a great captain, but a mentor that guided me through the difficult process of learning how to drive my Sea Ray Sundancer, while also showing interest in who I was as a person away from the water.
Just about every time my boat was being rented out for charters, I would always recommend Guy to captain the group because I knew he would use his amazing personality to show his clients a good time.
I also want to emphasize Guy’s awareness of the safety and cleanliness of my boat. He made sure all safety protocols were followed and even fixed a few minor problems on the boat to help me maintain its good condition.
I would recommend Guy to anybody that wants to enjoy their time on the water while also learning as much as Guy has to offer!
~Alex Amro

Just like "right-of-way" vessel in boating is a myth... The USCG does not issue captains licenses. The USCG calls them Merchant Mariners Credentials.
The size/tonnage and scope of license depends on your sea time and vessel experience.
Two excellent resources are:
